- Commercial refrigerators used in grocery stores or convenient stores are composed of separate indoor units and an outdoor unit, different from household refrigerators. The outdoor unit of most commercial refrigerators is a fixed speed type that makes use of high electric current from the initial starting operation and has a problem of low energy efficiency and noise due to rapid compressor speed. Moreover, it cannot flexibly respond to the changing thermal load of indoor unit. Inverter type outdoor unit is devised to address such problems and it allows to save electric power and to reduce noise, compared to the fixed speed type. Multi refrigerating system is developed that connects multiple indoor units to a single outdoor unit to make use of such advantages. There is a model that is capable of communicating between indoor unit and outdoor unit. This model can operate by responding to thermal load by using information on the indoor units. However, it has shortcomings due to the compatibility problem between indoor unit and outdoor unit. Meanwhile, another model without non-communication can be used for many different indoor and outdoor units, but needs to detect the status change of the indoor units. This paper attempts to analyze the signal of the outdoor unit when the status of indoor unit is changed by thermal load fluctuation.
